Sooji Halwa (Semolina Pudding)

Ingredients:

Half a cup of sooji, or semolina 

Half a cup of sugar  

1/4 cup of ghee  

A half-cup of water  

1/4 teaspoon powdered 

cardamom  Garnish with cashews and raisins.  

Directions: 

  In a skillet, heat the ghee and cook the cashews and raisins until golden.  Put aside.  

  Add the sooji to the same pan and cook over medium heat until fragrant and lightly 

  browned.

  Bring water, sugar, and cardamom powder to a boil in a separate saucepan.  

  To prevent lumps, slowly add the sugar water into the roasted sooji while stirring 

  constantly.  Cook the mixture until it thickens and separates from the pan's sides.

 Instant Chocolate Mug Cake

Ingredients:

All-purpose flour, 4 tablespoons

Three tablespoons of sugar

Two tablespoons of cocoa powder

1½ teaspoons of baking powder

Three tablespoons of milk

Two tablespoons of melted butter or oil

Vanilla extract, 1/4 tsp

Nuts or chocolate chips are optional.

Instructions: 

  Combine all the dry ingredients in a mug that is suitable to use in the microwave.

 To create a smooth batter, add the wet ingredients and thoroughly mix.

Half a cup of milk  

Shallow frying with ghee

  In a bowl, mash the banana.  

  To make a thick batter, combine the milk, cardamom, sugar, and flour.  

  In a pan, heat the ghee.  

  Spoon batter into the heated ghee, spreading it out a little.  

  Cook until golden brown on both sides over low heat.  

  Drizzle with honey or rabri and serve warm.

cups of dried coconut Two

Pistachios, chopped (optional)

Instructions: 

  Place 1.5 cups of coconut in a skillet with heated condensed milk.

  On low heat, stir continuously for 5 to 6 minutes, or until the mixture thickens.

  Stir in the cardamom powder.
